how many companies make battries? when you purchase a cheap one is it the same as a name brand?

Saturday morning took the battery back.........sure enough it was bad.......brand new.
Got a new 35N off the shelf........manufactured in 2005......works fine......we'll see if it lasts 3 years.....maybe it will outlast me.Comment

i use to work in a gas staion in which was not a major brand so the delivery driver told me to buy some gas after he delivered it because it was shell su2000 in which we were selling cheaper than the shell station down the street.Comment
