  • cluster problem?

i went to drive my car tonight and i turned the lights on and backed out of the driveway. the dash lights didnt come on so i tapped the dash a few times and they came on. i was driving for about 10 minutes and went to make a left turn. well my left turn signal blinked bright in my cluster and my right signal blinked dimly at the same time. kinda odd so i turn the switch to the right and the right signal blinks bright and the left one blinks dimly. so wondering what would happen if i turn on my 4-ways. i turn the 4-ways on and the rear defrost light blinks with them and the signals in the dash barely are visibly blinking. then i noticed my brights light wasn't on so i tapped the dash a few times and it came on then i tried everything again and it has all worked fine so far. I'm thinking i have a bad connection or a short somewhere maybe? maybe my cluster went bad? wondering what you guys think.

A dirty or bad ground will make weird things happen .

It can cause a feedback and make lights come dim that should not be on .and work somewhat backwards .

Double check all of your bulbs , and just make sure the connector is plugged in all the way .

I have had trouble like that but it was only in winter time when it was really cold out. I would guess a dirty/loose contact somewhere.
