My fuel sending unit no longer works and I am unable to find a new one to put in. I am going to try to rebuild the one I have. I have been to the junk yard and only found bad ones, there seems to be an engineering defect. Does anyone know what kind of wire the rheostat is wound with, is it coated and what is the ohm rating.
