Can a festiva really take this kind of punishment? video

alot of you may have already seen this video but it makes me wonder if the fesiva can really take this kind of punishment or did these guys just get lucky or did thay have to prep the engine to do this.. assuming it is a stock 1.3 in this car

I'd say the engine could handle it. I'd even go as far as to say that most modern engines could. You'll notice it didn't sound quite right toward the end, but it was still going. They probably messed a thing or two up, which is to be expected, but you'd be amazed what engines could have wrong with them and still be running.

yep they can the 1.3 is tough,, we did alot to mine and it still ran... no fluids cat litter and dirt in oil... no oil you name it.. and it still ran.
