Sammys are cool, I will probably end up with one, cause I love the little guys... but, in all fairness, I have been on some awesome trails/obstacles with a LOT of Sammys, and a LOT of Sidekick/Trackers (like mine) and believe it or not, I have never been unable to follow a Sammy, anywhere he went, but I have gotten quite a few Sammys stuck, and a few turned over, trying to follow me.. Sammys are a blast, but they are notoriously top heavy on severe off-camber obstacles, and they flip side to side, AND end over end much more easily than a 'Kick. They have a little better ground clearance in the middle, but my approach angle and clearance is better since I don't have axle hangers hanging down. I belong to a large group of Suzuki guys, and every year at the Zookimelt the Sammys and I have it out, and every year, they flip over on their sides... LOL...
Check this out, same obstacle, which looks like NOTHING in pictures, but in reality, this is a severe off-camber, downhill right hand turn that will either scrape your sides on the big boulder, OR flip you right over on your right front if you try to swing too wide of the boulder... The lead Sammy flipped... and several of the other guys had to have some help not scraping or tilting... but the Tracker (suzuki sidekick...same) went right through, nearly flat..
I do have 5.62:1 gears and a rear spool......
And here is another look at the bottom of that rock hill I showed the video of... the bottom is steep enough, but check out the ledge in front of the truck... that thing is killer.... FUN!!!
This picture is actually of a different trip, you can see I don't have my snorkle on yet, but it's the same hill..Have had 6 Festys... and counting...

Wow Dawg! You have some serious flex there. I thought the samurai was better than the sidekick. Apparently not. :thumbright:youtube.com/neanderpaul 88 festiva LX w/BP G25 MR 5 speed waiting for wiring- 93 Festiva GL auto w/ air, waiting for B6t/G4A-HL - 98 Nissan Quest - 02 Mazda protege 5 wife's DD

They just CAN'T believe it!!! I mean, Sammys look so tall, and are so flexy.... they just have to be more capable, don't they? LOL... nope.
My guy isn't that flexy, and doesn't have all that much ground clearance in the middle... BUT, flex and ground clearance isn't all it is cracked up to be. Balance and traction means a LOT more on tight and twisty trail running.
NOW, my little guy is NOT a rock crawler, and doesn't do super well at rock crawling obstacles... but, at trail running..... yeah, Sidekicks/Trackers/Vitaras really shine and can do very very well.. they surprise folks ALL the time. It has a lot to do with it's weak link, the independant front suspension... better traction, better axle angles, better tire contact patch over obstacles, etc..
It's true the Sammys can be tougher, solid axles can hold up better than CV joint axles, but Sammys have birfield joints, and those break... it's takes a light touch with either vehicle to not break out on the trail....
OK, rant off.... you can tell, I love my Tracker, and I love to show off how capable of a trail truck it is... just super...
BUT, I do LOVE Sammys!!!!Have had 6 Festys... and counting...

I want an X90 SO bad. They are the same as the Sidekick and Trackers... just cooler in a 2 seat version. Some were 4x4, some not. I like the 4x4 version with leather and power everything... very cool.. Check out THIS x90:
OR
OR, you could go the other direction with one:
