A friend of mine passed away over a year ago. I was listening back to a live performance of his and decided to cover his sad song. I'm a sucker for sad songs. It's even sadder when you listen to the lyrics and realize how tortured he must have been. Much great art comes out of pain. I recorded this last week.

Thanks Doug. Unfortunately I just found out my friend didn't write it. 
ops: A guy named John Gorka wrote it. I never heard the original and I assumed my friend wrote it. It sounded like my friend Sam's life.
