Wow, that first one claims chapel hill, and I think I have seen a couple of those guys around town...

Years ago, my uncle came across a slot track from a slot club in South Daytona Fl that had upgraded. After sitting a few years he gave it to me, and I used a bunch for my son in the back of the Dominos I managed. I packed it up in 1999, have moved a few times, to a few states, and JUST came across it a week or 2 ago, now this video makes me want to break it out. Man, I have alot of track to, like 200 feet worth, if I remember right.....

There's a slot track in a rc car supply store in the mall out in Marion out here. They sell supplies to build your own car and have races every now and then. They also have an rc car dirt track. That place is huge. I think it used to be a movie theater.

Cool Jim, I ran the hot wheels size cars ( 1/64th?) AFX when I was about 12. I got a track for xmas, my dad saw how much I enjoyed it and 2 weeks later he came home from work with 3 more used tracks from his friends at his work (GE). He built a 3 level track on a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood. Man it was bliss! He also made a power supply from GE stuff that was a higher voltage. In Lynchburg VA there is a 6 lane track that's been there since the 50's or 60's. It's big and wooden and permanent. Kids still run there. Slot cars are cool to me!

I used to spend hours playing with slot cars when I was young. A friend of mine still has a track at his house set up. And we still race when all the "boys" get together!

thanks guys! These are 1/32 scale, about a 3 1/2"-4" wheelbase. I used to run 1/25 scale on a 165' commercial track back about 15 years ago. I just ordered a 4-lane set from www.slotcarworld.com for myself.

I've got this too if it helps. I can send it. Not sure the scale though. The fenders are weird too (squarish).
