I was wondering what the movement of the exhaust thing is at 1:16 into this video?

Are those dual turbos on this???? Surely not....

it is exhaust cut-outs, it makes the exhaust loud for full throttle and quiet for cruising.

i've seen the show "Horsepower TV" where they've installed a twin-turbo set up on a newer corvette, and the turbos were located at the rear-end, it was quite the set-up

      1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
      1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

a company called STS (Squire Turbo Systems) basically piloted the remote mount turbo design for GM v8 applications. their original car was an LS1 camaro i believe that had a large single turbo just behind the rear axle.

i find it interesting that they claim theres no boost lag with that much "hot" pipe between the compressor and intake.

but all that aside, no, those are not turbos, just a controlled muffler that opens flow at WOT, similar to a muffler version of the 1.8L BP VICS instake system,

you would lose high end torque if you were to disconnect it as it opens up a seperate set of runners in the intake manifold to help keep the torque curve flat past 3800 rpm

as for the festiva, 3800rpm is about where the the power kicks in at, thats just your regular ol motor
