Its a Samurai. We used to do that in my buddys truck but you always want to have your seatbelt off just in case you hit a big hole. LOL

Haha I always thought it was funny how people put snorkles on the things that go way up over their head! The engine can still breathe but they're going to drown!:p

                ahh, water fording...

back in the day, I had an '86 Honda TRX 200SX 4 wheeler. Did a home-made water fording setup on it, so I could cross a big wash pond in the quarry behind my house. 3" pvc pipe plumbed directly to the carb throat, bowl and crankcase vents plumbed into the pvc, pipe extended up about 2ft above my head while seated (about 6ft tall total). Bent a piece of 1 1/4" conduit at close to a 90, brazed the short leg to the muffler. Long leg extended up about 1ft above my head while seated. Top of the pipe had a 180 deg bend in it, so the outlet pointed down, and that had about a 6" leg. That way, if the tailpipe submerged, it would act like bourdon tube, and not allow water to travel into the exhaust. The electrics were already pretty well sealed from the factory, I just opened all the connectors and loaded them with dielectric gel. With me on it, the dang thing would float with the bars barely above water. It was friggin' AWESOME!!!!

Oh, and since the bike was technically dad's, he wasn't real happy when he got home that day... (the bike was only about a year old!!)
