Awesome clip....what a way to spend the noght.
Looks like not enough power coming out of the turns and way too conservative in the turns....alot of missed opportunity. Nice clip anyway!

Not sure if he was really that conservative, he has huge understeer. He's putting 1 to 1.5 rotations into the wheel in the corners, which is about what I do ice racing. That is massive understeer. He would probably have to change the car set up to get enough oversteer to make that ride actually be conservative. But perhaps you were referring to something else?

That's our car. I build it and my son drives it. I've ask him if he wants me to loosen it up more and he says if I do he will spin out. That's what works for him. Right now he runs against Pontiac DOHC Quad-4's and a Mitsubishi 2.0 with a cold air intake, headers, and probably some other motor work that isn't quite according to the rules. We're running a B6 SOHC with a carb. He was second in the points after 4 races, but we took this weekend off and went to the NASCAR race at Michigan so he will probably drop to 4th.
            You gonna race that thing?

Watch the spectator view of that race. You may get a different perspective.
