The wings of a plane aren't going to penetrate a reinforced concrete structure.
Likely they will get sheared/folded back and probably be carried partly into the hole created by the front fuselage.

The fuselage isn't going to penetrate as many walls as whatever it was did, punching those nice holes. If you look back at that picture posted a few times back you can see the hole in the second ring of the building.
Maybe it was a plane. I just don't see how the impact would have looked the way it did.

once more, and this is the last time. Beleive what you want, that's fine with me. However, I have first hand accounts from inside the building of both the strike and the removal of wreckage. It was an aircraft that struck. end of story.

How many crashes have you investigated? How many have you witnessed?

I have not invesigated any myself, but I have witnesses three separate crashes; two military, one civilian. They don't leave as big a mark as you would think. I watched a B-52 tumble wingtip to wingtip down the runway of Pope AFB. Nothing left but shredded aluminum. Barely any scares on the tarmac or surrounding grass. Watched an F-117 Nighthawk loose it's wing during a 5G pullup at Martin State Airport/Warfield ANG Base; Aircraft came down on a house, didn't touch the patio furniture out back. Watched a smallish (Starcraft, Lear, etc.) skid off the runway and into a warehouse in Teterborough, NJ. Half the aircraft disintegrated, and left a pickup truck sized hole in the wall.

My point is, that just because the aircraft looks big and heavy, it's actually very fragile. It doesn't take much to utterly obliterate it.

I'm done, I won't comment about this anymore, no matter how much it chaps my rump.

Who among you has solid evidence that that really was a plane that hit the pentagon.

I do. First hand accounts by a family member; specifically, my father. He watched them pluck the wreckage from the building on the 12th, while he was setting up emergency telcom and data lines around the impact zone. Landing struts, passenger seats, escape door, wing root box, etc....

Is that good enough?

I've seen evidence that it was a terrorist attack. I have seen no evidence that suggests it was a government sponsored event. Some speculation and strange assumptions, but no evidence. I'm not 'attacking' anyone directly, but to suggest even for a second that terrorists didn't perpetrate this is nonsense. To think that everything that's occurred from that point forward was all orchestrated by the US Government? Snicker. So what then about the Yemen, the WTC bombing in 03, the Kuwaiti Marine barracks attack, etc. All part of Uncle Sam's grand plan? *cough* I'm out of this one too, but I felt compelled to post in defense of my country. To attempt to argue rationally with the irrational is indeed a folly.

I think diffinitely there is something else that we don't know.... there are many unanswered questions... In "how the towers fell", why did the trade tower 7 fall? no planes hit that... they said it was from 'debris from the other buildings' It was obviously controlled demolition... Why was there 45 degree cuts in the huge steel columns that were saved in both trade towers? (why didn't they cut it perpendicular to the column? that is how you cut columns...a 45 degree cut means controlled demolition)
I don't think it was the gov't that did it, (but i won't be surprised) but they sure did know about it. There is a bunch of stuff (other than this issue) that the gov't knows and we don't, that is for sure.
Also, this is very interesting: Listen to all the people that were interviewed within 2 hours..... their story is different than what CNN and all the news stations and even the news that plays today about 9/11 is.....like the NYFD interviews... the windows being 'blown out' of WTC 7.... if it could happen to WTC 7, it could to the twin towers too.

For those of you that "Don't want to hear any more about this 9/11 stuff".. I agree with you but also disagree.. There are so many unanswered questions out there about this... How can anybody just walk away and except it? So many things simply do not add up.
I urge you watch some clips (take them with a grain of salt) and just see what some people are saying... b/c it is very interesting. The original post and the google video link is not the best one to watch, but does have some interesting points. "how the towers feel" by richard gage is much more in depth.

You don't get to call a time out because when you asked for hard evidence, you got it.

Do me a favor calculate the energy content of the fuel load of a 757.
Then calculated the impact energy of a 757 moving at 350-400 mph carrying the fuel above.

Without doing the calculations I'll bet that the kinetic energy of that plane was every-bit that of a locomotive engine moving at any reasonable speed.

There is an entire class of weapons designated as "kinetic energy weapons" that do not carry explosives but are every bit as deadly as a bomb!

Look. I don't want to get into any of this. I stated this already, and I'm not kidding. Do you know why I don't? Do you know how it feels to feel unpatriotic? How it feels to imagine that maybe your government would be evil enough to do something like this? THAT is why I try not to get to far into these conversations. But it seems things aren't going my way this time.
Please don't call it my opinion. It's not my opinion. I don't know where the right side is. So there's hard evidence against the conspiracy side. There's also evidence against the government side. There's also room for evidence on EITHER side to be false or planted. Just like conspiracy theorists say that news channels and the government have been twisting words , camera angles, and other facts, it is also completely possible that that's what they are doing just to trick people against they're own government.

You're right, I'm not an expert in physics. But I do know the basics. I have taken physics in high school and two semesters in college. What those planes and buildings withstand is way past "basic" physics, in my opinion.
