  • Festiva spin in Autocross...cool

    Heh... heh....

I let my buddy drive my Festivamonster and this is how he treats it..

Me looping Andy Stanford's bitchin Ford Festiva for the second time that day.

I told him to go for it, and he tried to go through a section without lifting.. obviously he should have lifted a LITTLE...

    fun stuff...
Have had 6 Festys... and counting...

Nice, looks like it handles really well, maybe alittle loose in the boot, but he was doing pretty good till the spin. Glen Region SCCA season is over up here, we had 90 drivers at our last event, good times.

It should weigh about 1300... but I haven't officially weighed it yet....

It DOES handle like a Kart now, and I am having to relearn how to drive it, as I can go WAY deep into the corners now, as it will stop on a dime...

The tires here are near corded... I had him co-drive so I could wear'em out and justify new rubber... I have a set of R-25 race rubber ready to go on... but I really need a little taller rubber, and a little wider than what I have to go on. I want it as wide as what you see here, but stickier... these are R-45 compound.. and I am moving up to something better...
