She was dumb for having it and expecting it to become domesticated and stay that way. It's a wild animal, after all. However, the fact that PETA is up in arms over it getting shot has irritated me. The cops did what they had to do. I would have probably done the same if I needed to as well.

I think PETA should work to keep wild animals out of households, instead of throwing fits for harming animals in instances like this. Think smart, PETA.

They got upset when the elephant went on the rampage a few years back and had to be shot (multiple times by multiple cops) to bring it down after it KILLED PEOPLE! I have to agree with you though.

Why was a chimp on Xanax? Has anyone heard? I also heard this morning he may have been suffering from Lyme's Disease. They said he really wasn't taken care of very well.
