I guess that explains why it transfered it weight to the back and the front wheels didn't spin. Wonder why they cut up the rear wheel wells, looks like it had enough clearance.
he had to cut the wheel wells cause they were rubbing in the hard turns and smoking the tires..he was a techer of mine at college and when i was in his class we had some great festiva talks

The tires stick out of the wheelwells 2-3 inches. I just about ruined the tires first time I autocrossed it. Currently it sits higher than I want it to so I re-arched the wheelwells with intent to lower the ride height. I'm not happy with how the rears turned out. There's not much there to mount the ends of the bumper cover to without some fab work so I didn't cut where I really wanted to and regretted it when I backed up and looked at it. Never enough time to do it right but always enough time to do it over I'm in the process of putting together a coilover kit for the GM struts. I want to take a little bit of the body roll out of it as well. It also needs new front struts pretty badly. Am I correct that Mazda 323 struts fit with minimal trouble?
