      I dont know, sounds like lots of time and money. The lack of 323 axles kind of scares me too.

        Will not be drag racing, so I think the trans will hold.

        Didn't cut the firewall. I massaged the firewall a bit with a metal rod.
        May later remove heater box to cut out a box.

        Plan is to use trans from Capri XR2 I have on the other BP car project next month.

            i did mine without cutting the firewall. have a g trans and the capri axles. i have lots of room. had to notch the drivers frame rail for the tranny pan on the end. have lots of room firewall side and almost none on the rad side.
