  • Look what I found!

I was bored the other night so I googled "rear mount turbo festiva and what do you know, MY CAR!!! Decent video too. This was about a month ago, 1st trip to the track after my B8 swap (turbo was never removed during motor swap). I ended up running a 14.33 that night but this was early. Enjoy!!

A ford festiva with a turbocharger hanging off the back running a less than impressive time at Orlando Speedworld.

Oh and if your a caddy fan the other car was a new cts-v.......553hp

That's cool, finding vids of your own car. Not a lot of clearance on that turbo when you pound it tho.

Maybe when the Fiesta comes to North America they'll start calling these Festivas Festivas...

I saw this one. Sasquatch posted it on another thread. I love the sound man. Sweet stuff!

hey, just so you know there is a nice little spot down beside the gas tank where the exhaust runs beside... there is enough room for a turbo, that was my plan just to be extra safe make a heat shild so you dont cook your gas

warm gas is actually easier to vaporize, it "could" lead to better efficiancy...

that being said, Euro, you could do with some heavier springs in the rear, like, say, cut down front festy springs. they'll help with that squat issue on takeoff and keep your front from getting too light. forgive me but i'm assuming you still have a factory suspention in the car, if not, disreguard this.

Thanks I've been wanting to lower it from day one just too cheap but when a parts car comes with fms springs why not?

i'll warn you right now, those rear springs aren't going to be enough, use the old front springs and cut them down as needed.

How would it affect the ride height if you put rear festy springs in the front?

Not sure what it would do to the ride height, but I'm pretty sure you'd play heck keeping the fenders off the tires. Rear springs have not nearly the tension the front ones do. Or so I'm guess since I didn't need spring clamps to do my rears, but I did for the fronts.
