That 323 was able to get that fast time due to Front wheel drive wheelie bar?

Here is a link to Front wheel drive wheelie bars.

Maybe I will install one on my car.

Another link about front wheel drive wheelie bars from three years ago.

i dont think the wheelie bars are really that necessary, i would think by making the rear suspension stiff, that would prevent the weighnt transfer to the rear tires keeping all the force up front. i was told you could do this by using tow straps to rachet down the rear axle beam so it had no travel. I would like to hear other peoples opinions though.

It could possibly be a FE3N out of a Kia Sportage, I've heard of people making a ton of power out of those stock block and head.
                          Current cars:

1993 Ford Festiva 5-Speed - Festiclese III - Cousin of the Banhammer - "The Jalopnik Car"
                          1984 Toyota Cressida - 2JZGE Swap, Turbocharged.
2013 Mazda Mazda2 - Exhaust and Wheels (the daily)
                          2002 Toyota Tundra - V6/Auto/2WD - The Tow Vehicle.

323s also have A arms in the front. you will need a fully built bp with stand alone or use an fe3 2.0 litre gold top 170hp na good for 350whp turboed with stand alone. id just build a bp if it were me. i regret doing my rwd conversion. i could have built a motor, standalone, clutch, slicks, big turbo, limited slip, traction bars. and kept it front drive and ran 10 sec times for less than i spent on my car. but rwd is fun. i just need a better trans that can hold power.
