I suppose it COULD be done. But it would require some serious mods, since you have to consider weight to tire surface area. I wouldn't know where to begin the math for something like that but I'd bet it would require some big 'ol monster truck tires to work, which brings it's own set of problems for drivetrain, suspension, etc. I imagine you'd also have to greatly increase the torque to keep the wheels spinning fast enough. You'd end up with a non-roadworthy festy. But one heck of a YouTube video.Comment

let me know how that works out......
you'd almost certainly need a rear engine, rear drive for a vehicle to 'skim'.. otherwise- you'll be way front-heavy.Last edited by ejp2fast; 04-09-2010, 06:15 AM.
