Holy Shit! I was there at that!!! That is like 40 min. away from where I live. A place called "The Firing Line" puts is on every year. They are located in Wyandotte Oklahoma! They rent those guns, and you can shoot them for $15 at their indoor firing range. Cool!!!

Shooting a Glock 18 in each hand with two 33 round mags loaded would be a fine way to waste ammo!

That's pretty awesome ,there is a guy about 40 miles from here that will let you shoot anything at his range and he has anything you can think of you can rent to shoot there all full auto stuff ,and he is a class 3 dealer. He just paid like $150,000. for some custom full auto .50 cal.

          That rocked

That rocked! my cousin is a gunsmith and has his own range at his house in north Alabama. he puts on a shoot like that too. He has friends that have every full auto shooter under the sun. I'm going next time he has one, I really want to shoot the GE mini-gun.

I'm pretty tame. My favorite full auto would be a Guide Lamp M3A-1 Grease Gun. The closest I ever got was in Saudi at the end of Gulf War One when I was standing in a line with some tankers. One of them let me look over his M3. It was love at first heft. Plus the .45 ACP flavor, of course.

Okay, I have a weakness for that little H&K PDW MP5 variant. It's so little and cute.

As for GE Miniguns, I would like to fire a whole bank of them at a football field from a circling Puff AC-47. My favorite plane. Plinking, on a grand scale. That would be FUN. Talk about ammo costs...

Also my favorite full auto. I was a Bradley Fighting Vehicle mechanic and drove an M88 recovery vehicle so as a driver I got an M3 as my personnel weapon. Only fired it once in the 3 years I had it and only fire off 1 magazine. Still was awesome.

Damn, Matt! I was only in the Reserves and we did range fire at least once a year with our M16s and pistols. Then there was sometimes another trip for the machine gunners.

We got the new SAWs in right before I left. I did some initial training with them but left the month before range fire. Stupid timing!

I hated the M60 but I might have liked the SAW.

Oh, I think I sat in a Bradley once. 8)

There was a place about 10 min from me that you could rent a machine gun and fire it! Not sure if its still there, I should check that was fun!

I still had to qualify yearly with the m16. They would drag a group of us from maintenance and a few m16's and we would all qualify with the same weapon without even sighting them in or getting a few practice shots. I fired the 50 cal a few times, that was fun. Shooting truck and tank silhouettes at 1000 meters, full auto too.

                        guns

I was a Master gunner among other things when I was a Cavalry Scout.

Man I hated the M3 grease gun! what a POS. Even the sten gun is more of a quality gun then that thing. The better M3 was the M3 Bradley (the Cav version I was on) the 25mm bushmaster chain gun, now that is a fun weapon to shoot. The Cav version of the Bradley has more then twice the ammo of the M2, since we only had 2 guys in the back in addition to the driver, TC, and gunner. Our missile racks held 8 missiles in addition to the two in the launcher for the tow. and 3 times as much 25mm and 240Charley .30 cal ammo as the M2. we didn't have the firing ports the infantry version had.

If you liked the M3 grease gun, try shooting an Mp5, the difference is astounding.

When I first joined the army, we had M113's with M2 .50 cal's on the top, and ITV M501's with tow launchers. we also had one M60 per squad.
