Are you talking bout the taillights? I've never seen rear blackouts, just front ones (DJ has a set on his red car). I do have a set or rear euro lights that has some kind of black out coating on them though for my car!

Yes the rear , They are definitely blackouts I can see the GTS logo on there ? I wonder if they are for another application, I would still like to have them or some . :lol:

I never bought them, but eBay Germany is where I found the picture.

Can you give some details on how they were tinted (new thread maybe)? Is the plastic itself dark? Did they do a good job?

I am not sure how they did it, the lens has a coating of some kind. I don't know how a thread would help since I don't know how they did it. But they do look nice, I will be putting them on my green car this year! I want to find some bright bulbs for them maybe LED ones.

Check around your local surplus store for brighter bulbs.

I found some that were the same size and voltahe as the old ones but were about 25 watts. I don't know what effect that brighter bulbs would have on the blinking relay thing though.

I told Tim ,I had some tinting spray,it was just for taillights ,But this was in the early 80's I had some ,worked good ,looked dark till you hit the lights , I will see if I can find some more ,I still have the can but I think it is spent
