I hope J.T can chime in for accuracy but last year he told me he had about 6k into the festiva but that is with all the different stages, trial and error he has been through and his current stage could be replicated for way less.

I found a quote in the thread he posted.

not a kill he pulled me super hard in 5th... but i didnt realize he had almost a full car on the launch til i saw the video... the guy is hella cool and the car is show quality clean under the hood...his turbo manifold costed about the same as my festy with my 2 parts cars(a festy and a capri xr2)

I don't know if you guys feel the same way but im getting extremely irritated that everyone calls the festiva a fiesta (see video 2) I don't know why but it feels like a slap in the face insult. All the work we do to our cars just so people get the freaking name wrong....uncomprehensive jerks they all are

"Fiesta"? How would you like to have your car called a "Yugo"? Listen to the background talk from race fans in the stands while watching the 46 Festiva during a heat race. I thought it was funny since they were actually cheering for the "Yugo".
