Man Mick ,that is cool ,I love those graphics .
Well back in 92-93 when we took it all apart ,frame off ,all new Gm sheet metal, blasted the chassis,painted with Imron ,1 new bed side ,new doors fenders,inner fenders , tail gate ,fiberglass hood , hood cowl, bumper filler, and all the little trim was new .Everything was painted in pieces while it was apart,and all the graphics wrap all the way around ,and it is all paint ,there is no tape on this truck.
Everything was put back together with stainless bolts, nuts and misc. fasteners, everything under hood was replaced with Billet stuff and it got new Ceramic coated headers,upgraded the carb and fuel system ,I already had that motor in there ,it is a full roller motor w/ alum heads.
I took the 4 link and polished it and cleared it all. That is all that was done then which has all been replaced since then with all chromoly 4 link with a wish bone setup ,and I added Billet 4 piston disc brakes on the rear,and also redone the entire rear with a Moser 33 spline set up with a full spool .
I done alot of the work myself ,and it was my friends shop ,he was the painter . Paint alone was 2,400.00
So with me working on it with him ,and we got some breaks on some of the parts and before those last few upgrades on the rear end and brake stuff,it only cost 6,000.00
If it would have been at a shop where I could not help and just had them do the body panels and paint ,billet stuff .he said it would have been around 12,000.00. But all that is more than just a paint job ,every nut and bolt was removed and replaced ,all the suspension was out ,engine and tranny was out , nothing was left untouched .
So to answer your question how much.
I just tried to cover everything that was done it was really more than just paint.

cool. hey thanx for the pm help too. got it all worked out now!
i had a chat to my mechanic, i think we're a couple of months off before i start the motor. motor is actually finished, im saving for the computer (and the wedding, and the mortgage!!), but ill keep you posted...

Thanks ,you just wait, now that I have figured out how to do the video posting .

The next Video will be a good one ,I will be tearing up the asphalt, High RPM, tire frying Ya all that good stuff.
I know why the whole thing didn't load the file was bigger than allowed ,so the next one I will host thru somewhere else. :lol:
I want to do one in the Festiva too ,maybe I can get the whole Fam and we will light em all up, all at the same time The Z,Truck,Bike. :toothy10: :toothy10: :toothy10:

Is your truck fully tubbed? Is that a ford rearend?

Fully? It has the biggest tubs you can buy ,the tires are 33X21.5X15 on a 15x15 wheel and yes it is a Ford rearend with all Moser stuff ,full spool,33 spline axles ,in a Prostock style housing,meaning a fabricated rear,with axle bracing to the end of each tube ,and 4 link,and wheelie bar brackets,all fully adjustable.
