Hah Pauls pretty awesome too! But Jon Gomm is a slightly different style. He does instrumental and percussion using an acoustic guitar with electronic amplifier installed, and does vocals while playing, wires his own music. If you listen to it without watching the video, it sounds like a full supporting band.

He must have a piezo or mic pickup to pick up the thumping in addition to the visable soundhole pickup to pick up the strings.

I actually have at least 6 styles. Spoken word, pop, funk, a Capella, country, near metal etc etc.

I do vocals while playing and looping.

I've written close to 1,000 songs.

I played a 3 hour show at a large art museum. An employee had been working out back and was listening to me. He couldn't see me. He walked up to me afterwards and said y'all sounded good tonight! He was shocked when I told him.

I just wanted to respond to those points.

Having said that, DUDE! That guy is crazy talented! He definitely has his own thing going. He is superb.

Original, playing and singing, harmonies, volume/energy dynamics. Sounds like a full band with traditional instruments.

And this is all vocal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhxRV...e_gdata_player

And one more raging cigar box guitar, bass, drums. Festiva lifting II! Lol!
This is the live loop I developed from a short song from the video called "festiva lifting neanderpaul". I was driving along in my festiva and remembered the...
