  • Wedding Fail!

Haha, so my brothers wedding was a couple weeks ago and we were using my grandpa's '48 mercury for the wedding car, well the car wouldn't start, so we had to pop the clutch Thank god it was a manual lol. I'm in the back seat btw

Yep, gotta love the wedding memories... we were married on the beach and it rained the whole ceremony, as soon he "pronounced us man and wife" the clouds broke and there was sun and a rainbow lol. Thats a gorgeous Merc! We didn't drive away from our wedding lol, we'd rented a beach house and we just sent everyone else home and stayed there

On my first attempt at a wedding, my "bride-to-be" called off the wedding 5 days before the wedding date. I had to spend the next several days calling around to cancel the cake, the band, the photographer, the reception hall rental, etc., as well as call friends and relatives to let them know the wedding was canceled.

I guess you could consider it a "fail" or a "victory".....depending how you look at it! LOL

Definite victory, though it may have felt like a FAIL. You're lucky she had the guts to call it off before worse and more expensive mistakes were made.

^^^ The ironic part is that I actually ended up marrying her 3 years later...and we're still married (14 years this last May)! Life is truely stranger than fiction.
