  • 1987 B6 carbed engine start up out of car

Here is a video of a carbed B6 in Australia being started:

Cold start and run of a fully rebuilt 1987 Mazda B6 4cyl 1600cc engine to suit KC/KE Ford Laser or BF Mazda 323. It hasn't been started in more than 3 years!

I'd like to know what the piping coming out of the exhaust manifold shield is for. Does anyone know what it is?

    Just interesting.

I hope they didn't run it too long without any water in it!

              Cool Video!

I'm guessing the tubes are air injection, rather than exhaust gas.

Wasn't that 'Honda" can rigged up like a radiator? I'd have to watch it again. I din't realize a motor could be run that simply outside a car. I may have to give it a try.

Helps being carbed, realistically all you need is air, fuel, and spark to run a motor.
