This guy better watch his back. People that invent stuff like this come up missing. Big oil doesn't like this. As of this posting this video is 14 hours old. His email is posted with the video. He encourages questions. Maybe someone here with more time that I could email for details. I am trying to figure out how this works. Is it steam? This is way to cool.

Im afraid that if I email him, I might just end up on that missing list too!
It would be a neat idea, but if your a city dweller it could end up costing more than gasoline to buy the wood. But then again it would depend on how efficient it is I guess and I cant imagine its all that great considering external combustion engines are pretty much prehistoric.2002 Ford Mustang GT Mineral Grey 5 spd

Anywho, sounds like a normal running engine to me. I don't know what the hub bub is about all the stuff in the rear, a way to store the gas released by "cooked" wood?
Didn't somebody on the site post a while back that they had a festy that ran this way?Contact me for information about Festiva Madness!

All this talk about "cooking wood" reminds me of someone's old sig line on here, I can't for the life of me remember who it was though.

Personally I would like to see a steam powered Festiva, as light as they are. Use a condensor to collect your exhaust steam and injector system to re-use it. Also the use of a high efficency boiler. Just run a direct drive to the axle, sounds simple enough. LolMike Holmgren
