Nice.. I'm hating this fluxcore welder. I've put about 10 rolls of 2lb wire.thru it and the liner needs replaced. On high heat setting it seems like its not even burning enough for anything thicker than 3/16 steel. It does the job but I need to invest in a nice MIG/gas unit I can use for more types of metal.2008 Kia Rio- new beater

that's exactly what happens folks... if anyone has ever used a TIG, they can verify this (easier to "watch"). molten metal is being "thrown" onto the substrate and the latent heat allows them to bond. this is what i was tought when i was in school. it's very "cool" stuff.Trees aren't kind to me...
