        heres what i find strangely ironic.... the font in the opening of the vid is the same font used in the festiva logo lol
        -90 festiva - bp swap "relentless" (thanks matt) aspire swap, pacesetter, underdrive pulley

                Its manual, i think. . Hes pressing gear levers on the wheel. Unless its a paddle shifting auto.

                  I was thinking that too but after watching a couple times I thought it was just like buttons for NOS.

                        Says it's DSG, which is a dual clutch sequential gear box, but it works like a shiftable automatic and I think they still use a torque converter in the VWs. It also says 4 motion, which means it's AWD.

                        There appears to be a pedal activated clutch on this car, so I'm stumped as to what tranny they used, but the buttons on the wheel are used for shifting. Definitely a sequential box, but it doesn't sound like DSG (to much time between shifts).

                          I agree, it is AWD. You can see the front and back wheels spinning in the slo-mo at the end.

                          ...besides, it would HAVE to be AWD, to get any traction with 1000 HP.
