The windshield is cheaper than a tailgate paint and cheaper than a rear window...
plus you can see it so have time to flinch!
As long as you have the camera rolling you could use the festiva and fire the shot out the window, then yank it before it falls back in the hole!

Well, I'm used to dealing with 1.5 or so inch cable, and we are usually lifting upwards of 5 ton. I get used to that and treat everything as if it were something like that. When that cable snaps, and it did once, things go to a bad place in a hurry. That was all it took for me to treat every lift or pull as such, even if it's as simple as pull starting one of our tractors.Originally posted by neanderpaul View Post

Not for nothing but why take a chance on damage to the truck. With a couple of bricks of C4 not only would you be rid of both items but they will land a couple of blocks over and then it's the neighbors problem. At the cost of fuel it would probably be cheaper too.Comment

boy seems as everyone knows how to do this better than u neanderpaul.i would of done it the same way if I didn't have a tractor accessible with a loader.but then u still have to use a chain or cable.the way I see it you were jerking on the pole just light enough to get them out not hard enough to send one through the winshield. geez people lighten upComment
