Yea, too small. If it had a couple inch taller tire it would go 11s for sure

I totally agree.... I was debating between 20 or 22" slicks (which I plan to buy before spring), but with my gearing and what you posted, I think I'm better off with 22's lol

23x8x13 is the ideal size. Lots of sidewall. My turbo pipe drags the track going thru the water box with these little slicks

congrats rick flare! im suprised how the car tracked to straight at high speeds, mine was all over the place but i didnt have slicks

So that's the torque steer huh? I've been experiencing that with my big wheels and when I get on it really really hard on stock wheels. Normally drives fine.

can i offer a couple of pieces of advice:

and i noticed on a mates SAAB 900S that he uses undercar spoilers to deflect air from underneath the centre of the car too whilst driving at high speeds.

here is a picture of them.

notice under the middle of the front doors, these seem to help with handling at high speeds as far as my ideals and knowledge go.

Also, there is a roof diffuser they use on the Mazda 121 Funtops that is designed to push the air away from the roof as well.

Failing to find one of them, there is this stuff on ebay that might help with the air resistance over the roof to help reduce it.

this isn't it, but it works on the same principle and is made for the front as far as i could tell.
