im watching this and all I can say is, I wish I could have made him crash :-) Its amazing to see good driving, but with traffic like that, they shouldn't be doing those speeds at all.

You can see the fine quality of the roads in the video. Did you hear them say the Lamborghini joined in the run! That would be something to see! Atleast Ford was leading the way!

that was really really dumb... if you're gonna drive that fast, don't do it on the highway where you're gonna be putting other people's lives in danger... I was witness to a wreck where two guys were racing a 4-lane highway near here. I was in the left hand lane and there was a minivan behind me cause we had just passed a semi truck. Both cars came up really fast behind us, and I got over to the right to let them pass. One of them decided to pass the minivan on the right side and go around me as she was starting to get over to let them pass. The guy wound up hitting the van and it rolled killing the pregnant mother and her 3 year old son who was riding in the backseat. And that guy better be glad his door was smashed in so much it wouldn't open cause if he would have gotten out of that car where I could get to him... well, lets just say I wouldn't be sitting here at my computer right now, I'd be sitting on death row for murder. I like driving fast as much as the next guy, but save it for the track (or at least until late at night on deserted road where there is noone around to hit). Racing is dangerous and stupid. I don't care if you have a deathwish and a need for speed and you don't care what happens to you, there are other people out there that might want to live long enough to give birth to their baby, and see their 3 year old son grow up. BOTTOM LINE: DRIVE RESPONSIBLY. even if you don't have any concern for your safety, at least show a little respect for the safety of others...

Sorry for the rant, but thats a very touchy subject with me, especially after having seen the effects that reckless driving can have on other perfectly innocent motorists.
          No festiva for me ATM...

I used to drive like that, but only late at night.
You know tractors come out during the day and they go real slow

                  stupid

Yeah, that WAS pretty stupid, 142mph though traffic, I especially LIKE the part where the ford GT very nearly drives right into the back of an SUV. the guy in the corvette then says "this guy drives really well" yeah right
All I saw in that was a bunch of rich assholes "cutting" traffic like kidiots, a bunch of right lane passing that will get you put away forever if you drive like that on the autobahn. The Germans are for fast highway driving but they frown on passing on the right for any reason.

I'm not totally against fast highway driving to the ability of the car, but you should use better judgment and do it on the open highway where there is much less traffic. Just because you are rich and can afford cars like that does not mean that you have the skills to do so.
                  end rant
