    Every car I have owned has had a turbo in it, until I bought this latest festiva.. I plan to fix that though.

              imagine how often you would have to clean brake dust off, not to mention the wheels need to be removed when you clean them. Oh- then there's brake overheating...

              They DO look awesome though! :wink:

                well they're made from the same material as the space shuttles windows.. I don't think heat will be a problem...

                2k each doesn't cover making the brakes and rotors look good eiither.. :shock:

                  The space shuttle windows are in the vacum area during reentry, they take almost no heat.

                  The biggest problem is that to get strong enough they have to be very heavy. Expect these to be 40 lbs or more.

                    They are not supposed to collect brake dust , but if they do get dirty ,it says just take a air hose and blow them off on the inside .

                              2" thick polycarbonate for a fish tank in a 19" Diameter (typical for 22" rim) would weigh on it's own close to 70lbs
