That was an insane GTO, it belonged to a friend of an online friend of mine. He was turning some SERIOUS times with that thing before he hit that guard rail. That is a DANGEROUS track with those steel rails..


wicked crash, but Eddie was OK from what I hear.

If you watch the whole video, he got out and walked away from the crash. I bet he was sore though the next day!

I would give my left............well.......... I would give almost ANYTHING, to race some serious metal like that.. hell, I would be jazzed to be running 10's in ANYTHING... I have have a hard time conceiving of mid 6's...


That goat was running Super Street, on 10 1/2" rubber... and NEVER hooking up for a whole pass... I think with some 12" or better rubber he would have been solidly in the 6's...... but I could be wrong.. watching him push that thing just makes me nervous.. cause he definitely had too much power for those tires.... He always claimed it was well over 2500 hp

I think when the dyno'd it after they put the 4 turbo motor in it was like 3200-3300 HP
I don't think they ever got all the bugs worked out of that one , even the twin turbo car went 6.69 at 215
He is driving a Monte Carlo now that has went 230 mph :shock:

What size rubber can you run in Pro Street?

I wish Eddie would have moved his car up........ I really feel he had too much motor for those skinny slicks

In Pro Street you can run the biggest tire , but it still has to be a DOT tire .

Never had it down the 1/4
7.90 in the 1/8 and it spun the entire lenght of the track , hard tire's before I got the one's I have now .
I have since went to a bigger carb and bigger ceramic coated headers and 3 1/2 Exhaust

I want to build something VERY light, with a decent 300-400 horse small block, with with a 100-150 shot on it..

Think I could get into the low 10's with something light enough?

It does not have alot of top end . 4.56 gear TH 400 no OD. alot of R's
If I sprayed it ,It should go high 10's maybe low 11
