    This is with open headers. It's so loud I can't really tell if the valve train is quiet or if it's knocking. I have to make a bracket to hold the distributor before I go much further. I let it idle for a minute and the paint on the header started smoking.

      No good pictures right now, I'll get some when it stops raining. Everything is a little haphazard because I'm just trying to get the car running. Once it's going the intake is getting changed and the battery is being replaced. I'm signing up for a trackday on march 10th, and I need to get the car into tech before then.

          I can't find my timing light. Right now the distributor actually isn't even bolted it, it's just sitting there. When I revved it up it started advancing the timing. Tommorow I'm off to buy another timing light and figure out a bracket for the distributor.
