this is interesting because im using the same turbo, but until i can find some bigger injectors im only running 330cc's

i agree with the body flex, if i see that much on mine when i get it to that point, ill start running bracing across the front-end structure.

He had a video of it up, but it wasn't a great run because of traction issues. I could be thinking of someone else though.

Also he hasn't been back to the forum since his little slap on the wrist.

Does anyone have this video or the build specs? What happened to this car?

It was sold to another member who has vanished it seems.

              Specs, sorta:
              Mod list

              -BPT Swap w/Capri XR2 transmission/axles

-Custom fabbed No weld "L" bracket mount for the passenger side.

-Afro engineered front engine mount, solid as a rock

              Now for the good stuff

-Built bottom end w/stock BPT head (NO headwork whatsoever, I know it's killing it...just too much work when you can put a BP head on there)

-Miata t3 flanged log manifold w/38mm "tial" wastegate flange.

              -Garret t3/t04e 57 trim turbo w/.63 exhaust A/R

              -Greddy type S BOV

-Tial 38 mm wastegate with mandrel bent atmospheric dump

-2.5in mandrel bent IC piping and dump w/T clamps and beaded ends

-Dejon tool MBC currently set at 26-27psi.

-Srt4 IC with modded end tanks. 2.5 in and 3in out.

-4 wire TPS conversion with the BP26 ECU

-Clutchnet performance 6 puck clutch kit with resurfaced flywheel.

-Walbro 255LH in tank fuel pump

-Aeromotive 1301 adjustable fuel pressure regulator and liquid filled guage.

-SAFC II tuned to the rim and 12.5 a/f on race gas. Started doing a E85 map but don't have enough injector to control with the SAFC and fuel lines to flow enough fuel necessary for it.

-550cc LOW impedence injectors (not sure on what brand, I think they are
              Sard injectors

-single injector resister packs mounted on firewall

              -Necessary Autometer guages and Tach.

              -civic off brand coilovers
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

                26 lbs of boost?

Imagine that kind of power with head work. Quicker turbo spool, cooler intake temps.

Built bottom end is the key. You don't be running 26 lbs on a stock BP.
                    91GL BP/F3A with boost

                      "built bottom end"

Any idea what he did? rods? pistons? crank work?

I hope he has a map daddy map sensor installed into his ms.

20psi is the limit on the stock map on ms so essentially 25 PSI has the same parameters as 20 PSI.

I mean you can tune however you want but I would say tuning for 25 psi with proper equipment would net more power, also longevity of the motor, especially if it's stock.

I believe he was running stock ecu with apexi afc not sure what map sensor if any they have. Maybe it done use speed density because it's a piggy back.

Safc doesn't have a map sensor it just takes the vaf signal and outputs a different one to trick the ecu into thinking that there is more/less air than there really is. Some people have deleted the vaf and wired in a map instead then used a Safc to tune it though.
