Really? Its kinda annoying because it always wants me to shift so soooooon. It didn't come on the first gears because the second you hit the clutch it goes out.

My first festy had a shift light.....it was an 88 4spd.....and ya not a cool option.....as said before....the light comes on too soon....it's more of a save fuel by shifting earily light :roll:

My '89 has a shift light. It must have been an option that went out with carbs and orange gauges.

I miss the Festiva 85 topped out speedometer. It takes a while to get the aspire up to the top, but I used to bury the Festy needle all the time. It's really a bad thing when you get pulled over doing 126 in a 75, and having to explain to the officer that you don't know how fast you were going due to lack of speedometer though ('88 Tracer B6 on that one)

i have a shift light, it was nice for the first week(since i was semi-new to driving a stick) but after that i started beating the light before it'd pop on, so it rarely comes on now..which is weird..
