    micro festiva meet

    The white LX is my latest festiva. The other 2 belong to my friends Jack (of festar fame) and Rick (oneeyepizzaguy here). Jack has 4 now and has owned 6 total and has been into festivas for only 3 years. Rick has been driving festivas for about 16 years. He's has owned almost as many as I have.. about 13 or so. he has about 6 now. Rick had a b6 festiva with GT emblems on it when I met him in about 1995. He may have been one of the first anywhere with that motor swap. I went to pick up the LX yesterday. Jack drove me up to Blacksburg (VA tech) to get it. On the way home the fuel pump went out (I think). I pick it up on monday or tuesday though. Check out Jacks seat upholstry covered hatch cover. Jack is the man!

            It needs a rear wheel bearing, and the shifter is sloppy. I plan to take care of that stuff and then put it to work delivering pharmaceuticals. I start that new job tonight. I have an LX seat with a tear in it. I'm considering copying Jack's cargo cover Idea. I guess I'm over my BP-t lust... for now. I'll get caught up on my bills, get my 91 L with air legal, and find another to bp-t eventually. I'm waiting to see track times from evogun. AWD sounds like bliss to me. Yes I like the 40-50 mpg of a stock festiva especially when my new job pays for 20 mpg vehicles, but I still dream of a fastiva.
