  • look what I caught!

So I have these pesky cats that are picking on my cat. I find that if you catch them and just scare them they won't come back. No I don't hurt them. I set the trap and lo and behold this angry little guy showed up! I just showed my little girl the critter and opened the cage and let him go. He was little, but he looks tough 'eh?

            Wow... He doesn't look happy!

When we had some problems with the neighborhood cats running around, we caught them and took them for a nice long drive to let them go...

Yeah that's funny how they act tough. I find the babies want to fight, but the big ones play possum. I caught one that was HUGE. I picked it up by its tail. It did nothing. I put it in a cardboard box and took it for a long ride. It had been marauding my brother in law's cat for his food.

I think they are cut too! some people think they are like a big rat. The fingers look so human like.

I though about doing that to the cats I catch, but I thought they might belong to someone. I wouldn't want anybody to do that to mine. if you just shake the cage, act like a monster that's going to eat them, and then let them go they will run and never come back. One time I read a story in readers digest about a cat that walked across the whole continent to get back to its family!!

Ive got a pile of dead ones just like that, its right next to my dead coon pile. Every time I set the live trap I catch one, its almost garanteed.

Maybe it's a maturity thing. Like baby copperhead bites are more dangerous than adults because they haven't learned to hold some of their poison back. The baby possum can't resist the adrenaline rush from being cornered. The adults know it increases their chance of survival.
