Yes it's 3/8 stock cut and drilled to fit. You also shout put a slight bend in the front bracket to make it fit. I pay attention to all the details, so I am going to sandblast and paint the brackets as well as feather the edges.

I think the piece I used was 3/4" wide x 3/16" thick. I bought the piece at Lowes

I did get the drivers seat installed. It looks great, and they are super supportive! It's a night and day difference from the festiva seats.

As for the tab have you ever thought of welding up a support and boxing it in to the floor so it looks factory?

Hey Matt, do your seats sit higher or lower then the factory festiva seat?

the reason im asking is that in my old festiva i did the aspire seat swap and they sat way up in the air, making me feel like an idiot. heh
