Its been getting cool in the evenings here lately. I went out to close up the garage and guess what was headed towards my warm engine bay to warm up. A five to six foot black snake  . I opened the hood, started the car up and pulled it outside and let it run for 10 minutes but I never saw it come out. Then I went for a drive and never saw it come out. I'm just glad my windows weren't down. I noticed a few nights ago there had been some mice in the garage so I put out some traps but never caught anything, Now I know why. I hope there is no way It can get inside, Id hate to find it under my seat driving down the hwy tomorrow morning.

Its not the first snake Ive seen around and probably wont be the last. Id rather have a good black snake around then mice and a cat. A big black snake is good because it will keep the food supply down for other less friendly snakes. Plus, soon Ill have enough snake skins for a cool Halloween wig,

I think we call them chicken snakes down here. They like little chicks. That's going to be a cool wig.
