  • What a beaut!!

Spotted this Festiva rolling into a parking lot at a mall I was at. Some old asian guy driving it(looked like the original owner). The body was in IMMACULATE condition..not a single scratch, dent, or piece of dirt. It has 66,000km's on it and is an automatic. It looks like it had power mirrors and everthing. I get so excited every time I see another Festiva.

I don't think I've ever seen an LX with body colored bumpers. It's gotta be a '90 model with those taillight lenses and that grill. I wonder if the were bumpers painted in '90 or have they been swapped out? Looks fully loaded and fully cherry. Are those seat covers? I always get pumped when I see another Festiva as well. My friends think I'm very strange. I'm glad you guys don't.

Yeah he had some like fur seat covers or something on there. Wouldn't be my first choice for seat covers, but hey..it protects the seat. I actually saw like 4 festiva's today. One LX with the hatch spoiler, this one, and 2 regular L's.

Im gonna say 1990LX with a fresh paint job. The 90LXs didnt come with painted moulding/bumpers, and that red dosent look like the factory red

That's what I thought..but all the original vinyls and stuff were on the car. Not a single one was touched. And I mean sure you could cover them up when you paint..but it seems like way too much hassle.

At first I didnt think the LX decal looked right. Then I looked at the one below. I guess since the car was red, a red LX decal wouldnt show up so they put a white one on it instead. It looks good.

Repaint!! The factory cars didn't have that bad orange peel from the ones I have owned. Also the grill is a different color etc. Nice the same. Trying to find a good body Festiva now, hard to do! So many teal one's I hate teal one's!

                      Thanks

It was raining outside when I took the pictures, so the car had just come from the rain.

no you can tell the colors dont match . . . the hatch gives it away, the covers were painted after probly the same time as the grill they look like they could have been the same paint lot
