I've considered the black carpet, where did you get it and how much lint shows up?

Its just carpet replacement. Its like 8.99 at autozone for a 6ft by 4ft sheet i think. From the seats back is gutted so I stopped the carpet right under the seats. I didnt install it how it would be done proffesionaly thats for sure... kinda threw it in... and made it work. But.. all in all it changed the complete feel of the car. I didnt know FMS made a kit or else i might have looked into it. And yes my wheels is 180.. im not that dumb

How hard were the door panels to make?

I'm thinking I may go that route as my 2nd set of panels are pretty beat.

They were easy... I had an extra roll of the carpet replacement.. and I had some pleatherish material i got at a fabric store. I just covered the existing door panel.. prolly coulda taken it off but. kinda dont knwo why i didnt. I riveted the fabric together ... the wood/carboard held the rivets nicely.... I dunno.. it was a spur of the moment thing. I had some spray glue... and covered the back. Cut the holes for the latch and that was it.

Ahhhh, I was thinking of just replacing them, dj had some sort of particle board on his doors for a while. I need to figure out what would be the best material to use. Has anyone here tried that?

get ahold of a custom fab shop that does interiors . . . I've be lazy and have put off my door card project for more important issues in life . . . they should be able to tell you what they use . . . or you could simply de-skin your card and re-skin it

I used to work at a custom shop. There are 2 main types I used. 1/4" and 1/8" Masonite. And 1/4" Luan. Luan is cheaper but Masonite is harder, better, and easier to work with. Both are available at Lowes, Home Depot, etc. I would go with Masonite in 1/4" because the Festy doors are mostly flat.
