    I had to save this Festiva. They guy that had it prior to me had so many things rigged up that the car was going to catch fire any day.

          Excellent work. I love that B6

          Looks about as bad as mine when i first got it. Except i dont see any rags stuffed anywhere.

          And i hope to go with that same engine too I'm just not having much luck finding a decent one

                  Thanks guys:-) It took me a while....just like you Nate, because I was wanting to clean everything;-) It pays off in the end though. I REALLY wish I could make it to Ohio, but not this time;-( Y Gracias a ti ertc.

                        What was the wire running from the neg post on the battery to the positive post in the before pic for ?? :shock:

                            From looking at the pictures I wouldn't believe it either heheehe. Fortunately, I have a witness that gave me a hand. Htchbck offered to help me out when I first got on the boards, so I took him up on the offer. I was shocked that someone that I didn't know from Adam would drive an hour and a half to help me out with a job that big.
                            The yellow wires were some sort of rig-up for the cooling fan. If you look at the fusable links he just put a spring clip on the far left one!! Also if you look just to the left of the fusable link box, you will notice a connector just hanging there, and there isn't a coil. I took the coil off that he rigged up there. It was a coil from a 94+5.0 obviously you can see he did a great job with the wiring LOL. I used simple green to get the gunk off Mick.
