  • Another update.

Hey guys. Just thought you might like to see some newer pics.
As you can see- the antenna is gone, as is the rear centre stop light.
Should be good for primer this time next week, which is very exciting for me.
The original plan for purple has had a setback though, with the new plan to STILL go purple, only a few shades darker.

looking good. Is the interior getting painted to match, since you have most of it stripped?

Whats the point of even finishing it though if your never gunna drive it?

I've seen guys fixing and repairing while driving and it takes so long to finish beacuse your always sanding back what you put on to protect it the day before

^^True, true. BUT- my lovely 'to be' wife and i both agree that it must be 100% presentable before the wedding. Just can't afford both the paint & rebuild, and registration. It was one or the other. Needless to say, we decided that looking good was more important than having it 'on the road' for the wedding.

                      SimonTuffGuy-
I know i'm bordering what is legal, and what is not- but in our state i don't even think you can legally cut the locks off? If the handles have to stay on, i still have the chrome plated ones, so i'll just use em.

                      nonamekid-
                      The interior will stay Yellow,
1: due to the contrast between the inside and out (still) seeming to work together.
2: (at this point) it is still relatively different to the norm, as far as interiors go?
3: I am FAST running out of budget.

And don't worry, i am really anxious to get back behind the wheel. I just lack funds and inspiration sometimes.
I mean, apart from you guys, nobody shares my passion so inspiration is hard to come by.

^ As the owner of possibly the finest aspire/festiva on the earth Id say you don't lack inspiration. But I know where you are coming from when you say nobody shares your passion. Peoples reaction to my cars run from amusing disdain to contempt.
