  • My new rear glass installed

Had my buddy install my glass this evening , the rubber was very stubborn , very stiff , but no glass breakage
Thanks to Mark Burcham ..aka Burrham motorsports

I also got a few pics of a project he is working on .

A BIG thanks to John (PU241) for dragging my glass 900 miles to my house .

Needs a sticker now , that is 2 I have lost this year

That is a 1948 Pontiac Woody 58,000 actual miles , all the wood is original and still has the shellac on the inside .

My buddy custom cut all the glass in that car .

It has been sitting since 1960 ??

Why'd you have to replace the glass Doug?

The rear defroster was toasted
I had no continuity at all , on any line , I tried 3 times to fix , It just would not heat .

The lines had so many breaks and the lines were almost like weathered away to nothing .

This one has continuity , and it warms up very nice

Nice pics. Wish my car had rear defrost.... I guess it doesn't matter too much right now since I am not driving it and the taurus and the mx-3 both have working rear defrost.

I used my laser temp thermometer , all the lines do heat , but 3 of them are not as hot as the rest .

So I repaired them today when I got off work , I was very surprised how warm the window got

Brian that is a nice option , (hand warmer ) but you know that does not happen for the most part , unless self inflicted  '"
