    Nice wear pattern on the tire. Wish there was a more visible way to determine if the ball joints are severely worn

    Check the other side while your at it.

      I pulled one of mine out on my suspension swap. "So that's why they're called ball joints!"

      Also, don't count on Tuffy, Midas, etc. to check them properly for you. I had "looseness" in my front suspension later on and took Mutt to two different places to get her checked, including SPECIFICALLY the ball joints.

      Neither place found anything wrong. Later on I put up the front end and took a prybar to the area and found both of them loose!

      I'm paranoid about the things now. Like Matt said, check the other side.

      Oh, BTW Djones, Ohiostiva is Sunday, not Monday! Go look at the thread. Hope you can make it!

          Makes me glad my new ones are sitting here, ready to be installed as soon as I get my CVs. Gonna do it all at once. Was told 4 years ago my ball joints were bad. :roll:

            Had the same thing happen to me one night whil ei was goin to work.....turned a corner, hit 35 and the driver side hit the ground...i was like, hmmm, flat....get out....tires 90 DEGREES TO FAR TO THE LEFT!!! Cop gets there, asks what happens...i tell him...his reply..."how fast were ya goin?" I look at him...wait a sec..."its a Festiva...."
            ...on your death bed, you will retain complete consciousness.....So i got that goin for me...which is nice...
