I'll start the photo thread. I only got a few shots but there were a few others with digital cameras as well as a pro photographer so there will be plenty of other pics. Real nice event an nice to put a face with some of the user names. Makes me really want to attend the Festiva Festival.

              Nice turnout

I would love to pull into a track here or maybe a Sonic fast food joint and see all these Festy's out front. Great pic. I need to get in gear a start planning to attend some events myself.

We did convoy a few miles on the highway to lunch at Wendy's and loaded up their lot with fesivas and aspires. Other than cruising 50 mph in a 65 it was pretty cool, wd62vette isn't allowed to set the pace next time .

holy shit! that looks like just as good a turnout as festival 03'!

Damn congrats on having such a successful meet!

Should have one in PAish area closer to some of the mid-atlantic people, could have a damn good turnout.

I know I've seen a lot of people from MD, VA and PA here on the forums and its obvious plenty are in OH too

My two cents. How about a meet in Erie PA or Niagara falls NY. A bit farther for me personally but prob close enough to bring some more or the east coast crowd and perhaps some of our northern neighbors as well. I'm thinking a few shots of a 20 or so festivas with the falls in the background might be kinda cool. Might shoot for after labor day so the tourist crowd has dies down a bit. Another interesting thought is Put-in-bay on lake Erie. Another interesting shot of a whole ferry full of festivas headed out to the island. What is every ones thoughts on these ideas? Nathan

I'd be up for Summit point. Don't even know where it is. Hell might be even better if my friend was instructing a driving class there at the same time. Still thinking the naked Chic's at put-in-bay would be fun too though. Gattlinburg is another thought. Or how about Atlantic city. Nathan

Niagra? isn't that like bordering canada? We don't have many canadian members (besides fred of course) & not too many peoplein the new england/ NY area either.

Summit point is an idea, its actually farther than cumberland for ohio people, its damn near northern VA / DC area...its in one of the most eastern parts of WV in charles town, WV where the horse races/slots are.

I went to the summit point raceway event last summer (got a farkin speeding ticket on the way there! :grr, they have a carshow/race event with vendors at the end of july every year. Its called Hyperfest, not sure if its still called that but thats what iwas called the past 2 years. And yes you can race on the track if you wish for a VERY HEAVY DISCOUNT. Only thing is...you better keep your cars mechanics in check b/c you WILL break something if you drive too many laps too long. Also make sure your brakes & tires are up for it .
