  • Where can't you fit a Festiva?

My grandpa is keeping a Festiva for me while I'm away at school. When I graduate in the spring, it will be my graduation present. In the meantime, he has it stored in a most novel way.

That's right, with the help of a floor jack, and a friend, he has it parked sideways in a one car garage in front of his Ford Five Hundred. Tiny car FTW!

That looks like a clean festiva. Isn't that just like the one you have now ? A garage with a chimney ? I need to come up with a festiva stacking storage system

The prototype method didn't work out too well. 56K beware!

Take it back to the back porch, join the 3 string revolution.

At one time I did that with my Festiva in the winter. I turned it sideways so I could get 3 cars in the garage. Now I arranged the garage to get 3 across. It is a 2 car garage!

That is my one and only current Festiva. (the '89 L in my signature) I talk about it like my own, because I drove it all summer, and it's intended for me. It's the car your mirror delete came from, Marcus. The chimney is for a wood burning stove that heats the whole house

It's pretty clean, but it has a long way to go to be comparable to RedFord, Freshtiva, or FestDiva. I need to clean the seats and engine bay. When I have the time/money, I need to replace the timing belt, and swap the 4 speed for a 5 speed. I'm also thinking about converting it to a manual choke.

I'll be driving my Taurus exclusively until May or so. (22 mpg FTL!)

Forget manual choke and go straight to EFI.

^ ^That's a good place for it during the winter, a nice warm salt free garage. It looks really happy.

anomoly: I think I'll wait till they get the bugs worked out of that system.
