Me likey That carb looks pretty slick too... whats the motor originally from? Did you build up the motor yourself? If so then I may have a few question for you in the near future since I'm gonna be building a 302W at some point

For now the motor is basically a stock 89 H.O. 302 out of a thunderbird with a carberated intake. I plan on biulding it up more but money is tight on so far i have less than 400 in the entire project... FREEBIES a.k.a motor and trans. If you have any questions let me know

I bet the HO will move that little RX7 pretty quick... My wagon has the LoPo 302 in it and it weighs probably close to 2 and half times as much as the RX7, but it will still get up and go when I can get the trans to work properly

The 302 was a grat engine! It was produced from 1968 til 1995. Look at all the 5.0 Mustangs out there and how well they ran!

i took it out for its first drive the other night. That thing is going to be a terror when it is all tuned right. It was fast untill the alternator took a dump and stranded me 1/2 mile from my house at midnight in 15 degree weather and snow and wind

Nice choice! that looks like a fun project! I would be doing a fd + V8 right now if I had $2,000. There is a rotaryless one near me that comes with a complete Granny's kit!

Hey guys i took it out for another run (this time more successful) tonight and man is this thing a beast. It will fry the RR tire as long as your hearts desire. Once it finally gets traction it puts you in your seat and away you go. Cant wait to get it all legal
