My 1st car was a 91 Geo Storm GSi. That thing was great...great at getting me tickets too. Believe this or not...and this is the god's honest truth...6months i had 24 points on my license...I am not sure if all are familiar with Michigan's point system but you are allowed 12...mine accrued so fast that the state could not even keep up with me.

you CAN'T be talking about the Quad4....

I'm guessing the Iron Duke 2.5L?
I thought the iron duke was 2.4 quad four...my buddy had one of those engines in a beretta and he turboed it...ghetto setup. The vaccum line from the boost regulator touch the manifold, needlees to say his boost peaked at 23 psi which is over 1.5 bar and it sent a piston into orbit and valves to tokoyo, japan.

I thought the Iron duke was the 2.5. I remember the quad motor was a piece of junk. My brothers grand am had one, and it was noisy until the day it stopped working and blew a head gasket. I honestly don't remember the displacement, but I know for sure it wasn't the quad because they had the cover that said quad on the motor.

the Quad4 was a headgasket-eating aluminum terd. The Iron Duke was just that, iron. Quad4 was DOHC, Iron Duke was pushrod.

Later model quad 4's had a harmonic balancer hanging (chain driven) below the crank to help prevent the enging form self destructing...Nice job GM
